Abinger Common and Wotton Women's Institute

RSS
Our 35+ members come from the villages of Abinger, Wotton, Coldharbour and Holmbury St Mary. We usually meet on the first Thursday of every month at 2.30 pm., in either the Evelyn Hall or Wotton Village Hall. Dates of forthcoming meetings are in the Parish Newsand the Diary.

Our meetings are varied - from quizzes to crafts - and our speakers cover many topics: anything from "Dressing the Stars" to "Poisonous plants in the garden". Whatever we do on a Thursday we always have a proper tea!

We have two coffee mornings a year and both a spring and a summer lunch. We also go on occasional outings. In the past we've had a day trip to Chichester and we've become regulars at the Dorking Halls' pantomime.

There are also plenty of opportunities to join in and learn, with activities both at County and National level.

Visitors and new members are always welcome. Just turn up or contact our President, Jill Bridger (Tel: 01306 730721).
