A once-weekly, half-hour session followed by half hour of playtime /coffee for parents/carers. Mondays and Wednesdays, school term-times. 1st class 9.30 start. 2nd class 10.30 start.
Classes are themed for each week with topics such as 'animals', 'Transport', 'numbers' etc. The session is carefully structured to provide a variety of songs, percussion exercises and role-play games. Parents/carers play an important interactive role with their child. Some familiar nursery rhymes are used and some specially composed material. Musicians visit frequently with orchestral instruments and live piano accompanies some of the songs and dances. Parents don't need any previous experience in music - its all really fun! Fees are paid on a weekly (drop-in) basis. One child £3.00 per session, £5 for 2 siblings.
